Using windle, as a trader or as a team, can lose you money. Read this before you put funds into any market or lock any collateral.

No advice, no promise of returns

Nothing on windle.fun, docs.windle.fun or any windle channel is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Prices in windle markets are opinions of other traders, not forecasts by windle. windle does not promise any return.

You can lose everything in a position

A share on the losing side of a market is worth zero.
A team whose promise is slashed loses its collateral.
Prices can move sharply, especially in thin markets and near deadlines. You may not be able to exit at the price you see.

Protocol and software risk

Smart contract bugs. The windle programs may contain bugs that lock, misdirect or lose funds. No audit has been completed. An audit reduces this risk; it doesn’t remove it.
Mis-specified conditions. A promise resolves on its onchain condition, which may not match how you read its headline. Read the condition.
Design changes. windle is pre-launch. Mechanics, parameters and fees may change.

Blockchain risk

Network congestion or outages on Solana can delay trades, resolution or claims.
Transactions are irreversible. Funds sent to a wrong address, or approved in a malicious transaction, are generally not recoverable.
Wallet security is yours. windle never holds your private key and can’t recover it. Anyone with your seed phrase controls your funds.

Market and counterparty risk

Team behaviour. The team is the party best placed to influence its own outcome. The design aims to make delivering the team’s best strategy, but no mechanism removes this risk completely.
Asset risk. If collateral or payouts are in a token whose price falls, what you receive may be worth less than expected.
Manipulation. Thin markets can be pushed by a few traders. A price is not a guarantee.

Legal and regulatory risk

Prediction markets and related activities are regulated, restricted or prohibited in many jurisdictions. Rules can change and may limit or end windle’s availability where you live. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and for any taxes due.
